CONCORD, NC - Scott Grissom has been named North American product manager for DMC Wide Belt Sanders, part of SCM Group North America.

Grissom, with over 20 years experience in the sanding industry, takes responsibility for all demonstrations and quotations of all DMC related products. He will be based in the Concord, NC, offices.

Grissom began his career as a service engineer; later he moved to sales. SCM Group says his extensive knowledge of sanding applications, along with the marriage of DMC and Superfici, will better provide customers with complete turn-key sanding and finishing solutions.

Earlier this month, SCM Group North America moved the DMC division of Wide Belt Sanders into Superfici America, Concord, NC, its division specializing in complete automated finishing systems.
