Custom Wood Firm Names New President

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR –
 Handcrafted wood furnishings firm WWBeds Custom Furniture, named Chris Davis president.

He succeeds his father, Gary Davis, who founded the woodworking business 35 years ago.

His post-graduate education includes completion of He has completed an Aircraft Modification and Installation course from Pulaski Technical College and an Interior Design course from Chandler’s School of Interior Decorating.

Prior to the appointment, Chris Davis has been focusing on increased production efficiency, quality, and craftsmanship in the wood shop, by refining the building process.

Chris Davis began working at WWBeds Custom Furniture in 1990, when it was still called Waterful Wonderbeds, while still in school, handling all aspects of the business from accounting, web site management and sales to sweeping floors.

WWbeds Custom Furniture specializes in customized hand built furniture and other products. Working from custom sketches or other designs, the company will build any type of furniture, priding itself on never using particleboard.

WWbeds Custom Furniture, which operates a showroom and manufacturing plant in North Littlerock, says it now draws more than 75 percent its customers from its website www.wwbeds.com; it also has listings at custommade.com and has a site dedicated to children's  furniture, www.poggykids.com.
