CARB Formaldehyde Rule Should Be Law of the Land

Composite Panel Association Leader ResignsLEESBURG, VA - Composite Panel Association President Tom Julia has resigned his position with the group effective immediately. Julia had been with the CPA for more than 20 years.

In a statement made Sept. 2, CPA Chairman Kelly Shotbolt of Arauco North America said, “The CPA Officers have accepted Tom’s resignation, stating that Tom made a considerable contribution to the Association over his 20 years with CPA, with the most notable being his ability to reach out and form broad coalitions to respond to evolving environmental and regulatory issues. Tom always sought collaborative solutions with the various stakeholders and we will endeavor to follow this constructive approach as we move forward.”

The group will begin searching for a new president in early 2015, Shotbolt said. "Until then we are confident that the current staff leadership made up of Gary Heroux, vice president of Product Acceptance and Jeannie Ervin, vice president of Administration and Membership, who have over 40 years collectively with CPA, will make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible.”
