WATERLOO, IA -- The Waterloo City Council is considering buying an old warehouse from MasterBrand Cabinets for $65,000.
The 11,800-square-foot warehouse was once used by Omega Cabinets, since purchased by MasterBrand, for its "damaged goods" sale, according to the WCF Courier. The city would demolish the structure and use the land, along with adjoining property is already owns, for a new public works facility.
MasterBrand Cabinets, which includes Omega, Aristokraft, Schrock and other cabinet brands, was launched as part of Fortune Brand Home & Security last month on the New York Stock Market.
