SAN DIEGO, CA - The Wood & Iron Factory, is a manufacturer and exporter of high-end custom design pews and chancel furniture in San Diego, California, is sponsoring the third annual Nun Run, a fundraiser for a local religious order.

The Wood & Iron Factory sponsorship is a natural. The woodworking firm produces custom pews, wood chairs, carved ecclesiastical art, chancel furniture, and architectural woodwork and wrought iron for liturgial settings.

The Nun Run fundraiser to build a cloistered monastery and place of retreat in Tonopah, Ariz., 50 miles west of Phoenix. When completed, it will be the first PCPA Monastery in the Western United States.

The Nun Run includes a 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk is at 8 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona.Those outside Arizona participate as Shadow Runners. Last year Wood & Iron Factory's sponsored Nun Run drew over 900 participants and over 500 Shadow Runners across the U.S. and around the world including Canada, Italy, England, Israel, Australia and Sweden.
