Chromcraft Revington Narrows Q1 Loss on Sales Gains

SENATOBIA, MS - Furniture manufacturer Chromcraft Revington says it will take legal action against some furniture distributors and manufacturers that are “unlawfully copying or distributing” its copyright protected designs.

Chromcraft Revington Furniture Plans to Chase Design ThievesIn a statement, Chromcraft Revington said it will be “relentless in pursuing legal action” against those infringing on its furniture design copyrights.

Chromcraft Revington said consumers should be aware that warranties on unauthorized versions of its furniture will not be honored.

In July Chromcraft Revington put the company on the market. A July 17 statement by Sport-Haley Holdings Inc., owner, said the company is actively seeking a buyer for the residential and commercial furniture supplier. 

Chromcraft Revington ceased production at its Senatobia, MS plant in May, just one month after the company consolidated its Indiana operations to Mississippi. Since then, the furniture manufacturer and importer has been operating on a "day-to-day basis" while fulfilling orders.
