Asheboro, NC's Klaussner Home Furnishings launched an 80-piece licensed furniture collection with Trisha Yearwood, a country music star, cookbook author and Food Network host. Privately-held Klaussner touts its line as U.S. Made, and the association with the country star helps drive that point home, and target the marketing message.

Lane put Jared Allen, five-time all-pro defensive end football player (at left in photo) for the Chicago Bears in its High Point showroom this weekend, where he met retailers and signed footballs. Allen says he will soon be building or remodeling a handicap accessible home to suit the needs of an injured United States military veteran in North Carolina.
