CNC Maker KOMO Machine Joins WMIA

LAKEWOOD, NJ – KOMO Machine says it has become an associate member of the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association. KOMO joins more than a hundred other member companies  in WMIA who produce machinery and software for professional woodworking operations.

U.S.-based KOMO Machine, a subsidiary of PMC Global, Sun Valley, CA, designs and builds high quality precision computer numerically controlled (CNC) routers and machining centersproduces computer numerically controlled (CNC) routers and machining centers, serving an establishedwoodworking industry customer base.

Michael Kolibas, president of Lakeland, NJ-based KOMO, recently penned a guest blog for Woodworking Network explaining why his company brought production of its CNC routers from China to the United States.

WMIA, which represents importers and distributors of woodworking machinery and ancillary equipment in North America, was founded in 1977 to link suppliers and manufacturers of wood products throughout North America. WMIA members offer equipment, technologies and services that enable North American companies to compete successfully and profitably in the global marketplace.
