CHICAGO -- Custom office furniture and retail fixtures manufacturer Bold Furniture won Gold in the 2014 Best of NeoCon Competition in the Tables: Training & Work category for its One Collection, a fully height-adjustable desking system that can be used in both commercial and residential settings.

Designed by Joey Ruiter, the double-pedestal desking system features customizable veneer surfaces, privacy screens, a drop-in power insert for the drawer and storage areas.

Based in Muskegon, MI, Bold works with a variety of materials including veneers, hardwood, laminate, solid surfaces, leather, metal, glass and resin.

Bold expanded operations earlier this year with the purchase of a 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility scheduled to open soon and add approximately 25 new employees to its current workforce, according to MLive.com.
