MENDTOA, IL - Black Bros. Co.  named Ed Strahota as its director of marketing.

Strahota began with Black Bros. as product manager for the Shaw Almex line of 3D membrane presses.Having completed that product line launch, Strahota has adopted full-time responsibility  for marketing as well as managing the 3D vacuum and membrane press equipment lines. 

Strahota began his wood industry career as a custom furniture maker in 1978. His background includes hands-on manufacturing, applications, materials, specifications, and process development. In 1998 he moved into machinery sales, and earlier this year joined Black Bros., a leading designer and manufacturer of roll coating and laminating systems worldwide.
