WASHINGTON, DC - A National Architectural Door Council has been established by The Window and Door Manufacturers Association, which says it is intended to represent the interests of the leading manufacturers of architectural door manufacturers and their suppliers.

"The architectural wood door industry is a unique subset of the overall window and door industry with distinct issues which WDMA recognizes can best be addressed by the formation of the council," said Ann Duebner, VP sales and marketing for wood products manufacturer Eggers Industries, Two Rivers, WI.

Operating under the WDMA umbrella, the National Architectural Door Council will be responsible for creating programs and services to serve this market segment and provide networking and education opportunities for its members.
