WASHINGTON D.C. - The American Ladder Institute (ALI) redesigned its website, www.americanladderinstitute.org, promoting ladder safety standards for those in the wood industry.

American Ladder Institute Makes Site Easier for WoodworkersThe redesigned website offers an easier method to search for information on ladder safety, ladder safety standards, and ALI's free online ladder safety training in English and Spanish. The dedicated training website, www.laddersafetytraining.org, provides access to ALI's library of safety training modules which educate the wood industry on safe ladder practices, including proper techniques to select, inspect, set-up, use and care for ladders.

Along with ladder safety training and education, ALI serves as secretariat for the ANSI A14 Committee on Ladder Safety, which is responsible for the creation of a suite of ladder safety standards. Information on the A14 ladder safety standards is also more easily accessible on the redesigned website. Visitors to the site are able to submit comments, questions and requests for interpretations on the standards.
