SANFORD, FL - American Builders Supply, which says it is the largest independent supplier of doors, windows and trusses to homebuilders in Florida, acquired Clermont Builders Supply, Inc., a competitor in regional millwork markets in Florida. 

Clermont Builders Supply, Clermont, FL, is a 67-year old, third generation family-owned company that supplies lumber, doors, millwork, trusses, and wall panels.

American Builders Supply, in the investment portfolio of Blue Wolf Capital Fund II since March 2011, says it is the largest independent supplier of doors, windows and trusses to homebuilders in Florida, with over 300,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing space. It acquired two other local competitors in October 2011.

American Builders Supply services customers throughout North and Central Florida from its Sanford headquarters (outside of Orlando) and from three additional manufacturing and distribution facilities located in Winter Haven, Melbourne and Jacksonville. Its Melbourne and Sanford facilities offer custom doors and moulding products for specialty homebuilders and retail customers.
