EIGHTY FOUR, PA --84 Lumber Co., a privately-held supplier of building materials and services to professional contractors, posted $3.92 billion in sales for 2006, holding steady from 2005, according to Modern Distribution Management. The company opened 26 new stores and one component manufacturing facility in 2006. It also made a significant investment in the Gulf Coast region in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, to be properly positioned in the region as rebuilding gains traction.
