2008 National Cabinet Conference Takes Shape

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The 2008 National Cabinet Conference & Woodworking Expo will feature three days of educational seminars and two days of woodworking machinery and supply exhibits. It is sponsored by Custom Woodworking Business, Wood & Wood Products and the Cabinet Makers Assn.

The event, slated for March 18-20 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, kicks off with a trio of half-day workshops. Topics include Lean Manufacturing, presented by Tom Dossenbach, an industry consultant and W&WP columnist; The Business of Finishing, presented by finishing expert and author Ron Bryze of E. Kinast; and Cost Estimating and Bidding, to be presented by a member of the CMA.

Days two and three of the conference will feature a varied mix of timely business and technical topics from which attendees can choose.

The woodworking expo will be held on March 19 and 20. It will feature woodworking supplies, software and live machine demonstrations.
