WICHITA, KS - Nordam, which outfits jet interiors, consolidated its cabinetry shop for corporate jet interiors from Wichita, KS to Tulsa, OK, at a plant it recently expanded.

The weak corporate jet market had dampened demand for its high end veneered interiors. Seventy-five employees from the Wichita plant were offered positions in Tulsa.

In November, Nordam announced a 50,000 square foot expansion at the Tulsa site. In 2011, Nordam sued Cessna for $30 million for breach of contract after it attempted to move cabinetmaking work from  the Wichita plant to another supplier.
