Lowe's $500,000 EPA lead dust abatement penalty reminds remodelers they must be certified to handle interior work on older homes. It was the wood industry's most-viewed story this week. Also popular, a Toronto hand-built furniture company, Ruff Sawn, which uses a unique model: designing funiture, then subcontracting to Amish and Mennonnite furniture builders for export to the U.S. Here are the wood industry's most-viewed stories:
