Kitchen Tune-up Adds Franchise in Two StatesABERDEEN, SD  - Kitchen Tune-Up, a national kitchen cabinet and bath vanity refinishing and refacing franchise, has opened two new locations: one in Burley, ID, the other in Fort Collins, CO.

Kitchen Tune-Up services range from restoring and repairing existing wood cabinets, refacing cabinets and replacing doors and hardware, to installing completely new custom-built cabinetry.

The Burley location is within a Sears Hometown Store, owned by Judy Fowler since 1994. Last year, Kitchen Tune-up signed an agreement with Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores, Inc. to open the cabinet refacing franchises inside the chain of privately-owned Sears retail outlets.

“Kitchen Tune-Up is an exciting addition to our store,” says Fowler. “Our customers looking to purchase new appliances can also update their kitchen with cabinet refacing, redooring, or a 1 Day Tune-Up.”

Kitchen Tune-up Adds Franchise in Two States The Kitchen Tune-Up cabinet franchise in Fort Collins, CO was opened by Matt Layette following his training and certification with the national franchise at Kitchen Tune-Up corporate headquarters in Aberdeen, focusing on kitchen updating, marketing, sales and business management.

“I’m excited to be up and running,” Layette says. “Customers will find that we can make their kitchens look terrific in a short amount of time and without spending a lot of money.”

Kitchen Tune-up says it has been ranked No. 1 in its Building & Remodeling niche in Entrepreneur Magazine's 2014 Franchise 500 list for the 20th year in a row. It was founded by Dave Haglund who opened a cabinet dealership in 1975, which eventually grew into Kitchen Tune-Up. This business became a national franchise in 1988. Kitchen Tune-up is a member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association.
