MONROE, WA – Chermak Construction was recently recognized for a master bathroom suite remodeling project in The Building Industry Association of Washington's (BIAW) 2014 Excellence in Remodeling Awards. The winning project was designed by Catherine Schmidt and featured cabinets by Canyon Creek Cabinet Company.

The maple cabinets, from Canyon Creek’s frameless Millennia cabinetry line, feature shaker-style doors and an ebony finish, which was carried through in the doors and millwork.

Canyon Creek says it has worked with Chermak Construction for several years.

“Hard work begins at the desks of our designers and project managers and continues in the gifted hands of our carpenters and subs," said company founder Howard Chermak. "We are so very proud of the collaboration and generosity of spirit they exhibit throughout projects like these.”

Chermak Construction also won five other regional and state Excellence in Remodeling awards for home construction,remodeling, landscaping and outdoor living projects. 20 awards were issued in the June 25 ceremony.
