CHICAGO, IL -- The Chicago chapter of National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) is promoting a special event aimed helping homeowners get rid of clutter. Get Organized Chicago will take place July 20 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Allstate Arena. The organization is asking local residents to not only de-clutter but to bring recyclable, reusable or items for donation to Cornerstone Community Outreach and Goodwill.
“It’s a win-win situation,” says NAPO Chicago President Amy Trager. “Setting a date to get rid of unused items and having a location to drop them off can motivate people to better organize their space, while also helping the less fortunate and the environment.” More than 50 NAPO-related volunteers will be on hand to accept donations and assist with the event.
Everyone who donates to the event will receive 50% off ticket prices at the Chicago Sky basketball game that night starting at 7 p.m.
