Vauth-Sagel Hardware Founds U.S. Division GREENSBORO, NC - German hardware manufacturer Vauth-Sagel has restructured business operations in North America, founding Vauth-Sagel USA, based in High Point, NC. Frank Fahnenschmidt runs the sales and distribution team in the U.S.

The privately held firm says the United States and Canada have been important export markets for Vauth-Sagel for decades. It entered the North American first as a joint-venture, then in a dedicated American trading company. Now as Vauth-Sagel USA, the newly-established company will supply both country-specific system components, as well as the complete range of its German manufactured hardware.

“In an economically-difficult time, we have decided to focus on the American market and have restructured our operations," says Managing Director Heinz-Otto Sagel. "With the establishment of our own company, we believe we have a promising future with our new structure, our innovative products, our new customers and the improving economic environment.”

Vauth-Sagel had been producing several plastic products for the local market at its Greensboro, NC location since March 2010, including round shelves for corner carousels, initially with a local manufacturing partner.

The 10-employee U.S. operation includes a warehouse that inventories a broad range of products designed for the American kitchen cabinet sector. In addition to this facility, Vauth- Sagel operates another warehouse in Chino, CA.

The product range includes solutions specific to the U.S. cabinet market, which continue to be manufactured by the American production partner exclusively for Vauth-Sagel. Made in Germany storage solutions, such as Vauth-Sagel's HSA, VSA and DUSA tall cabinet drawers, with a broad range of side drawer systems and numerous corner cabinet variants can also be customized to specific customer requirements, such as basket bottom designs or widths.

Vauth-Sagel employs 850 worldwide, and produces 85 million products each year for global distribution.
