SOMERSET, NJ – Exhibitors are lining up for the 2014 Cabinets & Closets Expo (CCCE 2014) scheduled for April 10-11 at the Garden State Convention Center in Somerset. The expo will be preceded by the Cabinets & Closets Conference, being organized in conjunction with the Association of Closet and Straoge Professionals and the Cabinet Makers Association, Wednesday, April 9 at the nearby Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater.

The initial group of contracted exhibitors for the CCCE 2014 includes a mixture of woodworking machinery, components, and decorative surface providers.  Many more companies will be added to the CCCE 2014 exhibitor list as their signed contracts are received after the start of the New Year.

The list includes several long-time supporters of the 2013 Cabinets & Closets Expo and past Closets Expos including Sidelines, HandiSolutions, Northern Contours, CCF Industries. KML Industries and Elias Woodwork. HafcoVac and Charles G.G. Schmidt are among companies that will be making their first showing at the Total Storage Solutions event.

DC Distributing of Abbotstown, PA, was a first-time Cabinets & Closets Expo exhibitor last year and the first company to contract for space at the CCCE 2014. “We have decided to return due to the success we had seen from exhibiting at the show last year,” said Dwayne Shultz, vice president of DC Distibuting. “This is a great regional show for us due to the location.”

Debra Behring, president of JB Cutting of Mt. Clemens, MI, said she is “thrilled” that her company is exhibiting once again at the Cabinets & Closets Expo. “In 2014, we will focus on the latest color and texture trends, such as Driftwoods, Seasons, Latitudes and many more.  New door styles, including the true square corner shaker and two new applied moulding doors, will make their debut in 2014 as well,” she said.

Northern Contours of Mendota Heights, MN, a manufacturer of cabinet doors, drawer fronts and other value-added components, will once again participate as an exhibitor at the CCCE 2014.  Denise Kranz, marketing specialist for Northern Contours, said, “We’re exhibiting at the expo because the closet industry is important to our business and is a growing market segment. One of the products we will feature is our new Metallic Acrylics line.”

HafcoVac, a manufacturer and distributor of compressed air industrial vacuum cleaner units based in Midland Park, NJ, will show at the CCCE for the first time. “We decided to exhibit because of a huge increase in sales over the last year regarding the OSHA Combustible Dust initiative,” said Basil Fornaci of HafcoVac. “We exhibited at the 2013 AWFS Fair in Las Vegas and had great results with our product.”

Rick Paul Jr. of Charles G.G. Schmidt, a cutting tool manufacturer and suppliers based in Montvale, NJ, said "We felt attending this year was a good fit due to our close proximity to the show and the need for tooling in the cabinet and closet industries. At this year’s expo, we will be having a show sale on our private line of saw blades and CNC router bit -- 25 percent off list, with no minimum order quantity. We will also offer 35 percent off the list price on all Freeborn brazed cutter sets."

Osborne Wood Products Inc. of Toccoa, GA, also is returning to exhibit at the Cabinets & Closets Expo. “We are excited for the opportunity to exhibit at Cabinets & Closets Expo in 2014,” said Lane Taylor marketing assistant of Osborne Wood Products. “With the recent addition of the cabinet side of the show, we see an ever-increasing amount of cabinetmakers from shops of all sizes and markets realizing the importance and business potential of this show. With one of our major markets being cabinetmakers, this show offers a great potential for new and expanding leads, relationship building, and brand recognition. The Cabinets & Closets Expo is an excellent opportunity for us because of the crossover between cabinets, closets, and kitchen designers and manufacturers. Custom cabinetry can lead to custom closets and vice versa. Custom closets can also easily translate over into custom kitchen and bath design. This versatility allows us to gain valuable leads in the custom and high end market.”

Taylor said Osborne Wood Products will showcase a variety of wood turnings at the CCCE 2014. “Turnings are really the bread and butter of the company, and we love to show our classic, as well as new designs. We offer turnings at 34½, 35½, and 40½-inch heights for kitchen islands and cabinetry. We also offer custom milling for these posts, which we love to tell our customers about. Osborne will also bring examples from our corbels and carved molding collection to Somerset. Corbels are a very important part of what we do, offering solutions for shelving, storage, as well as kitchen island and cabinetry support and décor. Mouldings are a great decorative feature for both cabinets and high-end closets. Our moulding line includes both traditional as well as hand-carved pieces. The hand-carved pieces feature our acanthus leaf, grape, and other popular carving styles.”
