LINCOLNSHIRE, IL -- The Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio Awards' entry period has been extended to Nov. 15

The Design Portfolio Awards are given annually to honor custom woodworkers for their outstanding craftsmanship. Entries can be submitted in seven categories: residential furniture, freestanding; residential furniture, built-in; architectural millwork; commercial/institutional; kitchen/bath cabinets; countertop/solid surface and specialty products. All submissions (no more than three per category) will be accepted until Nov. 15. Entry fee $45.

A juried panel will select all category winners who will be featured in a special December digital edition of Custom Woodworking Business as well as in the January 2014 print issue. Design Portfolio Awards winners also will be celebrated a live awards ceremony, to be held during the 2014 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo at the Garden State Convention Center in Somerset, NJ, April 9-11.
