LOS ANGELES -- Closet Factory Los Angeles designed and built custom lockers for the football team of Peninsula High School, located in Rolling Hills Estates, CA. The original locker room, which was in such a dilapidated condition, received a complete makeover after the team coach, Mike Christensen, started a fundraising drive to aid in the effort of creating a more comfortable environment for his players.
Christensen, in his first year as Peninsula's head coach, wanted to have the renovation completed in time for the senior players to enjoy it. With the help of the team, community and local businesses, including Closet Factory, they were able to complete the project, which was dedicated in early October.
“The school needed a design that would maximize the space and fit as many lockers as possible,” Kathryn La Barbera, VP and designer at Closet Factory said in a statement. “We kept the main sections open, with a small lockable cabinet at the bottom. The result is super sleek and modern, but durable."
The design features open lockers, giant beveled mirrors, new flooring and new paint.
