GRANBY, QUEBEC- Timber Block says it has launched a new system-built, wood panelized home design, a flagship model, the Monterey.

For the new home, Timber Block design team works with the home owner, Then engineering teams use its patented building process with insulated wood panels featuring R-30 or R-36. The panelized walls pre-constructed in a factory controlled environment, the walls are delivered and installed in one day. The combination of fast build times, green building materials, energy star windows and doors and an insulation rating that exceeds code, answer the demands of educated home buyers.

Timber Block, headquartered near Montreal, also designs and builds log-panel homes, using an insulation method that produces instulated "hollow" logs. Shipping around the world, the company says its flat-stacking method means a typical a home up to 2,500 square feet can fit onto one truck, reducing transport costs.
