Mastercam introduces its new Mastercam Router X3 release. Router X3 includes TrueShape Nesting for optimized material use and yield, and an improved bottom line. Users can nest interlocking parts with a variety of options including: custom sheet definition; maintain grain direction of any part; “filler” part nesting to reduce waste; full control over part spacing and sheet margins; and more. Router X3 also includes Engraving as a standard feature. According to the company, engraving gives users the effect of classic hand-carved art using a CNC machine.
