The Rechargeable Battery Unit enables one CNC system to be connected from a power source to the servo amplifiers. It holds a rechargeable battery and charging circuit that supplies backup power to absolute pulsecoders and separate type detector units. The charging circuit monitors the voltage of the rechargeable battery, and it charges the battery when the voltage becomes low. Because the charging circuit works only when it is necessary, the rechargeable battery can be used for a long period of time, the company says. The average life span of the unit is more than 10 years, it adds. The kit includes the necessary cables for one CNC system to be connected from a power source to the servo amplifiers and a connection manual. This kit is designed to be installed with Alpha, Alpha i or Beta i Servo Amplifiers and separate type detectors.
