Architectural Systems, Inc. (ASI) reintroduces its Tropical Organix line of artisanal panels with a new selection of natural coconut shell, teakwood and palmwood in a range of sizes and thicknesses with the standard at 16.5” by 16.5” by .25”. Applications include walls, ceilings, furnishings and display elements. Tropical Organix offers a contemporary organic sensibility to commercial environments, says the company. The panels, in their native hues, create dimensional and tactile patterns and offer a fresh take on sustainable interior finishes, adds ASI. The collection consists of recycled content, rapidly renewable and low-emitting materials and can contribute to LEED. The panels can be applied with a self-backed or mesh-backing onto a variety of surfaces. Coconut shell mosaics are available in concave, convex and a distressed effect.
