Woodworker’s Supply introduces the Woodtek 163-703 Casters, designed to add mobility to wooden workbenches and storage cabinets. The addition of stepdown casters for wooden workbenches and workshop cabinets feature a lever, which lifts workbenches and cabinets and locks down the casters. The 2-1/2” diameter solid state wheels on the full swivel casters roll smoothly over hard surfaces. The step down steel frame raises benches about 3/4” off the floor to allow users to clear sawdust and debris. The casters work by stepping down on the lever to lock and lift up to release and feature a load capacity of 500 lbs. for a set of four casters. The caster frame can be mounted 3/8” from the bottom of the cabinet or workbench leg; the bottom mounting hole should be 3/4” from the floor and fasten stepdown caster to cabinet or workbench legs with #10 or larger wood screws or with 1/4” machine screws.  Stepdown casters are sold as a set of four; fasteners are not included.
