Senco introduces two 23 gauge pneumatic micro pinners, the FinishPRO 23SXP and the FinishPRO 23LXP, ideal, says the company, for intricate finish and trim work. The tools fire headless pins ranging from ½” up to 2” long, depending on the model. A self-adjusting magazine eliminates the need to manually reset the tool for different fastener lengths. Both models deliver 70-120 PSI of force and feature an ergonomic angled pistol grip. The FinishPro 23SXP 1- 3/8” 23 Gauge Headless Pinner weight 2.5 lbs. and features a fastener range of ½”- 1- 3/8” with a MSRP of $159. The FinishPRO 23LXP 2” 23 Gauge Headless Pinner weighs 2.7 lbs. with a fastener range of ½” – 2” and a MSRP of $229. Both feature an ultra-narrow nosepiece, which fits into corners and tight spaces, says the company, and a 4-point alignment guide, which is integrated into the rubber tip no-mar pad for a clear line of sight for pin placement. Features include a double trigger safety lock and an auto lock-out feature. Applications include light wood assembly, molding and decorative trim work, dowel and joint pinning, mirror and picture frame assembly, lightweight paneling, external softwood trip, rattan furniture, glazing strips, window beading, display and sign work.
