Jig System for Cabinet Face Frames

General Tools & Instruments says the new Professional Face Frame Double Jig System (8562) is designed to enable woodworkers and cabinet makers to create a production setup in minutes for the fast fabrication and assembly of cabinet face frames and doors. With it, wood frame and door components can be aligned, securely clamped, bored for pocket holes and screwed together in one operation, adds General. The patented system saves time and increases productivity by eliminating the need for separate drilling and assembly operations, says the company. The Professional Face Frame Jig System accommodates stock from 1 1/4” to 2 1/2” wide and 3/4” to 1” thick with pocket hole spacing adjustment from 3/4” to 1 1/2” for maximum joint strength, says General. The system includes 2 20” slotted T-Track Rails; 2 pre-assembled Clamp Mount Jigs for clamping work pieces and boring the pocket holes; 2 cam-locking Carriage Stop Clamps; 1 Step Drill Bit with adjustable stop collar and hex wrench for boring pocket holes; 1 pack of 100 Self-Tapping Fine Threaded Fasteners (1 1/4”); 1 #2 Square-Drive Screwdriver Bit (6”) to drive the self-tapping fasteners; and an Instructional Manual. All Face Frame Jig System components are available individually.
