QuickScrews Intl. Corp. has developed an all-purpose screw for the woodworking market. Applications for the QuickScrews Funnel Head Screws include MDF, melamine and particleboard, says the company. The screw’s head is designed to sink into the woods without chipping, splitting or need for a pilot hole. The Funnel Head Screw is a winner of the 2012 WOOD Magazine Innov8 Awards.
