Blum introduces the new Servo-Drive for Aventos electronic opening system for lift doors.  Servo-Drive has been available for Blum’s drawer systems but the touch-to-open feature now is available for upper cabinets. The electronic opening system opens upward, says Blum, with a light touch of the door. Activation lifts the door(s) up and out of the way. A wireless switch closes the door and is typically mounted at the bottom of the cabinet for easy reach. Blum adds that Aventos doors were light when opening and closing; with this new addition they open with just a touch, making Servo-Drive an option for universal design. Servo-Drive motors are easily attached to the Aventos lift mechanism by hand, says Blum, and they share the same transformer used by Servo-Drive for drawers.
