Porter-Cable introduces its 20 Volt MAX Lithium Ion Compact Drill/Driver (PCCK600LB) and 20 Volt MAX Lithium Ion Impact Driver (PCCK640LB). The Lithium Ion Drill/Driver features a powerful motor, high-speed transmission and 1.5 amp-hour battery, which provide up 330 unit watts out (UWO) to maximize drilling and fastening speeds, says the company. It has a two-speed gear transmission that delivers 0 to 400 RPM in low speed for high- torque applications and 0 to 1,600 RPM for low-torque applications. It weighs 3.7 pounds and is less than 8 inches long. Features include a 1/2-inch metal ratcheting chuck that provides bit retention and additional accessory storage with two magnetic bit tip holders on top of the tool. The battery gauge lets users determine the level of remaining charge while on the jobsite. Standard features include an LED work light, rubber bumpers on the sides of the tool, and an adjustable belt clip. The Impact Driver’s motor and transmission generate 1,450 inch-pounds of maximum torque, while the variable speed trigger delivers 0-2,900 rotations per minute (RPM) and 0-3,100 beats per minute. Features include an internal impact block, a 1/4-inch hex quick-change chuck and a two-bit storage feature, a belt hook and an ergonomic handle for comfort and non-slip grip.
