The saw is suitable for base and crown moulding, casing, cabinet installation, wood flooring, deck and furniture building, shelving and stair rail installation. The DW717 includes a precise miter system, which allows users to make repeatable and accurate miter cuts. The saw allows users to cut a 2-in. by 14-in. piece of material at 0° and 2-in. by 12-in. materials at 45°.
