Castle introduces its Benchtop Pocket Cutter, the re-released as the TSM-12, which has been updated with Bosch motors following the transition on the TSM-21 professional model machine. The TSM-12 cuts the 6° Castle Pocket with no tear-out and is designed for job-site use, small shops and more. The TSM-12 is built in the USA and offers quality and durability, says the company. Features include a Precision Metal Origami (PMO) Case; Bosch 1617 2.0 HP router; and a Bosch Colt 1.0 HP Drill. It has a list price of $1,099 shipping weight of 60 lbs. Power requirements are 110 VAC, 15 amps. The drill bit is a 9/64” Brad and Spur Premium tin coated bit. Enhanced features include Castle’s patented low angle pocket and a wider throat opening for thicker stock; dust collection ports; openings for shop vacs; a solid surface work top; and improved clamping.
