Mereen-Johnson exhibited its Model 524 DC/SR Multiple Blade Ripsaw with optional “Scout” Rip Navigator Optimizing System at Ligna 2013. It offers a glue line quality rip and uses high speed to process 15 boards/minute. Shifting saw blades provide greater production flexibility, better utilization from raw materials, and less down time, says Mereen-Johnson. Features include an ultra-heavy cast iron and steel weldment construction with a high efficiency 75 HP direct drive arbor motor. The Model 524 DC/SR applications include high production windows and mouldings.
