Osborne Wood Products has added solid wood live edge slabs as part of its new Highland Creek Collection. At 72+” long the live edge slabs are an ideal size for kitchen islands, bar tops, table tops and shelving, says the company. The solid wood live edge slabs, made from sustainable wood, offer strength. Live edge boards are kiln dried, adds Osborne, allowing the wood to feature natural imperfections while maintaining structural integrity. When added to a bar or island, live edge adds beauty, while complimenting current materials such as granite, brick, and other wood types, says the company.  Osborne Wood Products has introduced four wood types into the Highland Creek Collection, with various natural edge slabs available in cherry, walnut, oak and maple. Osborne’s website features photos of each wood slab, as well as specific dimensions and background on each piece along with information about the tree that yielded the live edge slab. Osborne says that no two slabs are exactly alike and customers can be sure they are purchasing a one-of-a-kind slab.
