Grizzly says its new G0677 24-in. double headed planer/sander features a 15-hp, 220V/440V, 3-phase sanding/planing motor and a spiral cutterhead in front and sanding drum in back that does the work of two machines. The spiral cutterhead features 188 indexable inserts. The machine planes and sands stock up to 24 in. wide and 6 in. thick. The cutterhead can be adjusted vertically for unlimited control over workpiece finish. The track and roller system allows cutterhead to slide out for easy access.
