Designed for entry-level to mid-sized businesses, the Akron 400 from Biesse America is an automatic single-sided edgebander suitable for applying banding material in rolls or strips to straight panels with a maximum thickness of 60 mm. The machine features a “quick-change” glue applicator and dual rotation of the glue spreading roller.

The Akron 400 can be customized with a number of different options, such as upgrade from manual operation to touch-screen NC control, or fitting with automatic devices, such as ball screw servo motors and multi-position units.
