Pressure Beam Saw with Prismatic Guides

Holz-Her introduces the Cut 6220 Pressure Beam Saw, a cutting package for single panels and stack cutting up to 130 mm, with a saw blade projection of 140 mm for high production requirements. The Cut 6220 features ground linear prismatic guides and brushless servo-drives plus PLC controls, says the company. It features cutting speeds up to 150 meters/min on the saw carriage with steep acceleration ramps, which provide short cycle times and precision, says the company. An automatic cutting length system, controlled via the optimization software, minimizes the processing times of all cutting patterns, adds Holz-Her. The Cut 6220 Classic is available in its standard version with a 20 Hp main motor, with options up to a variable speed controlled 35 Hp main motor, says the company. The main saw motor remains in a stationary position during all of the cutting cycles and only the saw blade is raised into the cutting position via advanced servo-controls. Position-related data of the pre-scoring saw can be stored in the software memory and can be re-positioned for the height and lateral positioning via the two servo-controlled positioning axes. Standard equipment includes the Opti-Cut software package and Easy-Plan optimization. The Cut 6220 is available with loading and storage systems. A Classic version is available with 100 mm cutting height.
