Abet Laminati, a manufacturer of high pressure laminates, introduces its new Grainwood finish, a raised texture that simulates wood. Abet says this tactile design offers a greater sense of realism than previous wood finishes. Designers can now choose a solid color with a subtle wood feel or a woodgrain pattern with a warm, sincere surface.

Grainwood offers stain resistance and other attributes of high pressure laminate. The new “wood-looking” finish is available in 13 solid and wood patterns. The Grainwood finish is part of Abet’s Legni line of high pressure laminates. Postforming Legni is sold in sheets of 51 in. by 120 in.
