DAP introduces SmartBond, a polyurethane adhesive that cures fast and develops a strong, durable, permanent bond to most building materials, says the company. It allows for less gunning, less fatigue, and less change out for users, adds DAP.  DAP says a 20 oz. can of SmartBond Subfloor adhesive delivers about 400 linear feet at 1/2” bead compared to one 28 oz. cartridge of construction adhesive which only yields 38 linear feet at the recommended 3/8” bead. DAP SmartBond High Yield Subfloor Adhesive is available in two different job-site versions. SmartBond can be used with an applicator gun or via an aerosol canister.
