FS Tool Corp. adds the 3/8 in., three flute compression bit, Model RSF2059A-UD3, to its Solid Carbide High-speed router bit product line. The new bit is suitable for double-sided melamine faced chipboard, MDF and solid wood materials. According to the company, the new bit increases yield compared to a conventional 1/2-in.-diameter bit, feed rates that exceed 1,200 in./min. and allows for a clean, finished cut in one pass.
