Accuwrap Profiles and Components introduces an acrylic material  that simulates the look of stainless steel. It  can be wrapped over MDF and permanently bonded using PUR glues. It can be wrapped around various profiles to allow for customization and flexibility of design. Applications include a five-piece cabinet door and various types of moulding, including crowns and cornices. The substrate is .007 to .250 mils styrene and the final product is fabricated using conventional woodworking tools. Laminate resists abrasion and has excellent resistance to alcohols, ketones, hydrocarbons, esters, mild acids, salt solutions and most household cleansers, says the company.
