I have some slabs of ash I'm using to make some benches. When I bought them, they had been air dried for 1 year (according to the seller). I have had them in my heated garage for over a month, at 20°—21°C (68-70°f) with the garage Rh of 25%. The mc is still showing 13%, which is what it was when I first purchased. Wondering if: 1) my cheap moisture meter is off (has 4% +/- accuracy according to specs), or if ash takes a really long time to drop its moisture content.
