Cabinet Makers 2014 Benchmark Study To Launch  At the end of the last several years, the Cabinet Makers Association has launched its annual Benchmark Study. This year will be no different, and we’d like to invite you to participate with us.

This study will explore a number of new areas and will be offering prizes and surprises! Watch for an announcement very soon. The 2014 Benchmark Study Report will be issued in early 2014.

The current (2013) Cabinet Makers Association Benchmark Study report can be ordered here.

In the 2013 Report we explored a number of different areas, including actual sales results of 2012 vs. 2011, and the outlook for 2013. We found preferences for design and manufacturing software, cabinet hinge and drawer slide brands, and learned which components are made in house vs. which ones were outsourced.

We also reported results from shops who have invested in CNC machinery and how it has impacted their processes and profits. Shops who are not CNC equipped also chimed in on when or if they would consider adding automation to their businesses.

You’ll also find in the report an eye-opening listing of average wages paid to a number of different job classifications and experience levels, all separated into geographical areas. Easy to follow informative charts and graphs are also included in the report. Plus much, much more
