Are you on the fence about going to IWF?
Ready or Not, Controversial Product Safety Website Goes Live
Are you on the fence about attending the 2010 International Woodworking Fair?

If so, you’re not alone. A new informal poll by WoodworkingNetwork.com indicates that 32% of respondents are “undecided” about whether or not they will attend IWF Aug. 25-28 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

I won’t rehash all of the reasons for why or why not wood industry professionals cited. We have several dozen of them featured in the story “IWF: To go or not to go redux.” The comments are worth wading through if you can make the time.

For the record, I plan to attend IWF this August. It will be my 13th in a row since 1986. The comment that best sums up pretty much state my case for doing so is, “700 exhibits is still more than I will be able to see. “

There are many other reasons why I plan to go. But I’ll add to that the ability to establish new contacts and catch up with old friends in a compact four days.

Where do you stand? Why do you plan or not plan to go to IWF? If you are undecided, what would it take to get you to make IWF part of your August plans?
