The Collins Companies, the leading industry producer of Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC)-Certified western pine particleboard, today announced that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) granted Pine FreeForm® Particleboard and Collins Pine Particleboard exempt status.

The Collins Companies today leads the industry by producing Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC)-Certified western pine particleboard with no added formaldehyde. Improving upon its already award winning product, Collins introduced two types of particleboard using a formaldehyde-free polymeric MDI (pMDI) adhesive--Collins Pine FreeForm(R) Particleboard and Collins Pine Particleboard.
