WMS is Weinig PowerMobile's next stop

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Weinig, a manufacturer of moulders, ripsaws and other woodworking equipment, will demonstrate machinery under power in the Weinig PowerMobile, a semi-trailer shop on wheels. The PowerMobile will be parked outside the main entrance of the International Centre during the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Continuous demonstrations will include a Weinig Powermat 700 moulder and a VarioRip 310 ripsaw.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Brad Cairns, co-owner of Quantum Lean, knows first-hand the powerful impact implementing lean manufacturing principles can have on a woodworking business. Cairns, who will present back-to-back “Kick Ass Lean” seminars Oct. 31 at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo, is also owner of Best Damn Doors in St. Thomas, Ontario. Fifteen years ago, he contracted Lean guru Jim Lewis of the Center for Lean Learning to help put his struggling business on a steadier foundation.

Trotec to demo laser technology at WMS

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Trotec, a manufacturer of CO2 and fiber laser systems for engraving, cutting and marking, will exhibit at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Trotec lasers can be used with woods, metals, plastics and other materials. The company will present live demonstrations of lasers machines throughout all three days of the show at WMS booth #1416. Company experts will be on hand to answer technical questions and discuss Trotec’s technical support and training programs.

American-made contour edgebander coming to WMS

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - SNX Technologies will demonstrate the SNX nVision System1 G3 contour edgebander at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. The demonstrations will take place at Taurus Craco’s WMS booth #2605 during all three days of the show.

WMS 2019 opens Oct. 31 with more exhibitors, robust conference program

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – All leading tradeshow indicators are pointing to a successful 2019 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference (WMS), set to take place Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the International Centre. On the exhibit side, more than 170 manufacturers and distributors of woodworking machinery and supplies will participate at this year’s show, an increase of more than 15 percent from WMS 2017. These exhibitors will collectively display and demonstrate products spread over more than 66,000 net square feet of space, also a substantial increase from two years ago.
